This Thursday night, July the 8th, the NLRA will be back in action at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks as part of the first night of the inaugural Wayne Anderson Cup. The event will be the 46th at the quarter-mile Bullring, and will honor one of the men that built the track into the success that it is today.

Don Shaw in victory lane in Devils Lake. Speedway Shots photo. Don Shaw won his 12th career NLRA feature Saturday night at the Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND. Shaw took the lead from Cole Babcock on lap seven, and continued on to park the Shaw Trucking No. 42S in victory lane. The win broke a tie with Zach Johnson on the series all-time wins list as Shaw now sits alone in eighth on the list. Tyler Peterson wheeled Donny Schatz's No. 15 to a runner-up finish in just his second night in the car. Brandon Fuller and Dustin Strand finished third and fourth respectively, while rookie Jason Strand scored his first top five, finishing fifth. Brody Troftgruben won the hard charger award, improving 15 spots to finish 6th. Mike Greseth's eighth place run was good enough to keep the point lead, which is now ten markers ahead Brad Seng who passed Shane Edginton for second in the standings. Bryce Sward and Dustin Strand complete the top five. NLRA series action continues Sunday night at the River Cities Speedway. The races start at six.

This week, the NLRA returns to action, with three big races on tap at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN, The Devils Lake Speedway near Doyon, ND, and at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks.

This Saturday night, June the 12th, the series will head to the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN, for the first time this season and for the 32nd time overall to the high-banked Roseau County oval the measures in at between a quarter and a third of a mile.

This Thursday night, May the 27th, the NLRA will head to the Grand Rapids Speedway in Grand Rapids, MN for the first time in nearly eleven years. This will be the second consecutive show that will be a return, and a second overall visit, as the series returned to the Sure Step I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN last Friday night.

Dave Mass parked the Structural Buildings No. 2 in victory lane for the second time in his career with the NLRA during Friday night's season opener at the Sure Step I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN. Mass led all twenty-five laps in the series return to I-94, marking the first visit by the series at the speedway since 2015. Bryce Sward finished as the runner-up, while rookie Mike Greseth completed the podium. Shane Edginton finished fourth in his NLRA return, making his first start with the series since the 2019 Prelude to the Johnny. Alexandria's Ryan Mikkelson rounded out the top five. Brody Troftgruben was the hard charger, improving eleven spots to finish fourteenth. The season continues on Thursday night, May the 27th, at the Grand Rapids Speedway.

This Thursday night, September the 10th, the 23rd season of NLRA action comes to a close with the tenth running of the 'Prelude to the Johnny.' The event kicks off the three-day, fourteenth annual John Seitz Memorial, which honors our three-time series champion, the late great John Seitz. Thursday's race serves as the series opportunity to crown its' series champion at their home track, the high-banked, quarter-mile River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, racing at the speedway for the 45th time overall in series history.

Brad Seng parked the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom in victory lane Saturday night at the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND. The win was Seng's fourth with the series at the quarter-mile oval at Jamestown, and his first since 2014. It's also Seng's 40th with the series, which tops the all-time wins list.

Dustin Strand won his second NLRA feature in three weeks at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN. The win is his second of the season with the NLRA, and the twenty-third of his career, which is one win behind Ricky Weiss for fourth on the series all-time wins list.

This Saturday night, August the 22nd, the series will make it's first and only visit of the 2020 campaign to the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND. This event is scheduled to be the 25th visit to the quarter-mile on the Stutzman County Fairgrounds.
