Last season, the series lone visit to Jamestown was held on July 20th, and it was Mike Balcaen picking up the win in the No. 10 Enns Brothers Black Diamond.
Aberdeen, South Dakota hot shoes Josh Skorczewski and Chad Becker rounded out the podium, while Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 Rivinius Ranch MB custom, and Mike Stearns rounded out the top five last July.
It was Balcaen's second victory in Jamestown, which is one short of the leading pair of Brad Seng and Dustin Strand, as both drivers have three previous Jamestown wins. Shane Edginton, Bill Mooney, and Zach Naastad, are the only other active drivers with previous wins in Jamestown.
Edginton's win was in 2016, as he stole the win from Mike Balcaen in the last corner of the last lap during. Zach Naastad won his first NLRA feature earlier in 2016, winning the June race in the No. Z17 Naastad Acres Millenium SRT.
Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Lithia Toyota of Grand Forks MasterSbilt by JMR, won the August 2011 visit to Jamestown, beating John Kaanta and Ricky Weiss for the win.
Balcaen, Edginton, and Mooney, along with Ryan Kereluk, Jesse Teunis, and Dave and Matt Smith have not been able to race with the series this season with the border closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
