This will be the second race for the series at River Cities this season. In the first event on July 31, it was Brad Seng who won his 39th NLRA series feature in the No. 12S Schill Construction MB Custom, leading the final eighteen laps for the victory. Dave Mass was second, with Brody Troftgruben third in the No. 14 Applegren Construction Rocket. Bryce Sward was fourth, with Dustin Strand rounding out the top five in the No. 71 Carr's Grain Service Millenium SRT. In weekly competition at River Cities during the 2020 campaign, Seng and Strand lead the way with three wins a piece. Ryan Corbett, who won his first feature NLRA series feature since 2002 at the Greenbush Race Park last Saturday night, won the opener at River Cities in the No. C4 Lithia Ford MasterSbilt. Lance Schill, driver of the No. 17 D&B Motors MB Custom, won his first Late Model feature on June 19th, while Tom Corcoran, driver of the No. T1 Greg's Lawn Care MB Custom, won on June 26th, scoring a win in his sixth consecutive decade of racing. | Brad Seng (12S) and Dustin Strand (71) each have three wins at River Cities in 2020. The event at River Cities will be the second race of the final three race swing for the series this season, as the series will continue on to the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND on Saturday night.
Dustin Strand heads into the weekend with a slim six point advantage over Brody Troftgruben. Seng is third, with Troy Schill fourth in the No. 11 Todd's Electric MB Custom. Corbett rounds out the top five.
