Three more big events with big money on the line lie ahead for the Northern Late Model Racing Association this weekend starting Thursday night in West Fargo, ND when the series returns to Red River Valley Speedway for the first of two consecutive nights in memory of former series regular Howie Schill. Following Friday night's $2,404-to-win top prize is handed out, the series will head northwest back to Devils Lake Speedway near Doyon, ND to make up the previously postponed Golden Hammer Classic which will hand $5,000 to the victor.

The series is set to round out the month of August with two races in the Fargo area this weekend. For the second week in-a-row, the NLRA will race for an increased payout during the second running of the Howie Schill memorial at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo on Saturday night. The series will head east on highway 10 on Sunday to run at Buffalo River Speedway on Sunday night.

Mike Greseth won his sixth NLRA feature of the 2021 season Saturday night at the Howie Schill Memorial at the Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND. Greseth led every lap, and won by over eight seconds over Brad Seng. Greseth, who is in his rookie season in Late Models, also closed to within eight points of the series point lead with one points race remaining. Point leader Shane Edginton finished third, with hard charger Dustin Strand in fourth, and Cole Schill rounding out the top five. Strand passed eleven cars en route to win the hard charger award. The series returns to action with a non-points race on Wednesday night at River Cities Speedway. The season concludes September 9th with the 'Prelude to the Johnny' at River Cities.

Two of the final three events of the 2021 NLRA season are set to take place this weekend at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Friday night, and at the Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo on Saturday night. Both races will be run alongside the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, while Saturday’s event will also honor Howie Schill, who we lost last December.
The 2021 NLRA schedule has been completed, with a big slate of twenty shows highlighting the series 24th season of racing action.

This Saturday night, the NLRA makes it's only appearance of the 2019 season at the Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND. The event is scheduled to be the twelfth visit overall, and tenth on the reconfigured third-mile oval on the Red River Valley Fairgounds. It will also be the third and final time the series co-headlines with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.

Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S Anderson Brothers Body Shop MB Custom, scored his first NLRA series win of the season last Saturday night at the Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND. The win is Seng's 36th career series triumph, which furthers his lead atop the all-time wins list.

This Saturday night, August the 18th, the NLRA will co-headline for the third and final time this season with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at the Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND. The race is scheduled to be the eleventh appearance by the series to the third-mile oval on the Red River Valley Fairgrounds.
