Don Shaw in victory lane in Devils Lake. Speedway Shots photo. Don Shaw won his 12th career NLRA feature Saturday night at the Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND. Shaw took the lead from Cole Babcock on lap seven, and continued on to park the Shaw Trucking No. 42S in victory lane. The win broke a tie with Zach Johnson on the series all-time wins list as Shaw now sits alone in eighth on the list. Tyler Peterson wheeled Donny Schatz's No. 15 to a runner-up finish in just his second night in the car. Brandon Fuller and Dustin Strand finished third and fourth respectively, while rookie Jason Strand scored his first top five, finishing fifth. Brody Troftgruben won the hard charger award, improving 15 spots to finish 6th. Mike Greseth's eighth place run was good enough to keep the point lead, which is now ten markers ahead Brad Seng who passed Shane Edginton for second in the standings. Bryce Sward and Dustin Strand complete the top five. NLRA series action continues Sunday night at the River Cities Speedway. The races start at six.

Mike Greseth in victory lane on Thursday night. Speedway Shots photo. Mike Greseth started second, and lead flag to flag for his third NLRA feature win of his incredible rookie season. Greseth previously parked the No. 17 Quality Engines Rocket XR1 in victory lane with the NLRA at Grand Rapids Speedway and at the Greenbush Race Park. The win also gives Greseth back the point lead, as he'll head into Saturday's 3rd Annual Golden Hammer Classic at the Devils Lake Speedway up four points on Shane Edginton. Brad Seng finished as the runner-up Thursday night, and he'll be just 14 markers back of the lead in the standings heading into Saturday. Pat Doar, Edginton, and Tyler Peterson, making his Late Model debut in the No. 15 Fargo Petro Rocket, rounded out the top five. Cole Schill rebounded from mechanical woes in his heat race to win the hard charger award, as he climbed from 19th to ninth.

This week, the NLRA returns to action, with three big races on tap at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN, The Devils Lake Speedway near Doyon, ND, and at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks.

Mike Greseth took the lead from Dustin Strand on lap 19, and continued on to his second NLRA series win of the season Saturday night at the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN. Greseth previously parked the No. 17 Quality Engines Rocket XR1 in victory lane at the Grand Rapids Speedway in Grand Rapids, MN. Strand finished second, with Cole Schill in third, Shane Edginton fourth, and Bryce Sward in fifth. Edginton was the hard charger, as he went from ninth to fourth. Edginton will also head into the next NLRA event as the series point leader by 22 markers over Greseth. Brad Seng, Sward, and Strand round out the current top five in points. NLRA series action continues on Thursday June 24th at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN.

Dustin Strand and Ryan Mikkelson split the pair of NLRA races run last weekend at the Sure Step I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN and at the Buffalo River Speedway in Glyndon, MN. Strand's win was his twenty-fifth win with the series, while Mikkelson became the second first time winner with the series on Sunday night.

It's a big week of racing ahead for the NLRA Late Model series, as the series will run for the first time this season at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Friday night, co-headlining with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. On Saturday night, the series will be part of the Dick Johanneck Memorial at the Sure Step I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN. The weekend ends on Sunday with the return to the Buffalo River Speedway in Glyndon, MN for the first series event at the track since 2015.
