Thursday - 
Ricky Weiss won his third NLRA series feature of the 2014 season, and his 13th series win overall, which ties him with Mitch Johnson for fourth on the all time list. Weiss passed race long leader Brad Seng in lapped traffic on the 26th lap, and lead the remaining four laps to take the 30 lapper. Brad Seng lost his chance at a series record 27th win, but he did clinch his second title in three years. AJ Diemel, Don Shaw, and John Kaanta rounded out the top five. Jeff Provinzino finished sixth, with Adam Hensel seventh, Jeff Wildung eighth, Bill Mooney ninth, and Pat Doar rounded out the top ten.

Ricky Weiss won his third NLRA series feature of the 2014 season Thursday night at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. The win is also his 13th series win, which ties him with Mitch Johnson for fourth on the all time list. Weiss passed race long leader Brad Seng in lapped traffic on the 26th lap, and lead the remaining four laps to take the 30 lapper. Brad Seng lost his chance at a series record 27th win, but he did clinch his second title in three years, winning by 128 points. AJ Diemel, Don Shaw, and John Kaanta rounded out the top five.

Northern Late Model Racing Association Preview - The 'Prelude to the Johnny ' at River Cities

The 2014 NLRA season comes to a close on Thursday night, September the 4th, at the River Cities Speedway, Grand Forks, ND, after the annual running of the 'Prelude to the Johnny'. Thursday's race is also scheduled to be the fourth series race at the three-tenths mile bullring in Grand Forks. Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Northstar Canada Victory Circle, won on June 20th for his first win at River Cities since September 2, 2011, as Balcaen took the lead from Pat Doar with five to go. Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport Mars MB Custom, won on August 15th, after taking the lead from Ricky Weiss, driver of the No. 7 Derrick's Sandblasting machine on lap 16 for his sixth series win on 2014.

Weiss And Wildung Split Labor Day Double At Viking Speedway

Ricky Weiss and Jeff Wildung each collected their 12th career NLRA series victories last weekend during the series' traditional labor day double header at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, MN.

Weiss won his second NLRA series feature of the season at the Viking Speedway on Saturday night. Weiss and Jeff Wildung battled for the lead early until Wildung broke while running second on lap 17.
