Background: David Buringrud and Jeff Hapala, two longtime friends with a shared love of dirt track racing, make up the BH Racing Team. Both Jeff and David grew up enjoying the sights and sounds of the local dirt tracks in the upper Midwest. In 1999 they decided to join forces to take on the challenge of racing a WISSOTA Superstock weekly at Red River Valley Speedway and a few other local tracks. For the next thirteen seasons BH Racing could be found traveling all over North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota building friendships among the racing community. For BH Racing, it is not just about the thrill of speed or winning the trophy, it is about the friendships they have made over the years. 2013 brought on a new exciting change for BH Racing as they made the jump to the big league! BH Racing will continue running a WISSOTA Latemodel weekly, as well as signing on with the NLRA to run their touring series in 2016.
