Five-time series champion, Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Enns Brothers Black Diamond, won in dominant fashion last Saturday night, winning the series season opener at the Devils Lake Speedway, near Crary, ND.

Ricky Weiss, driver of the No. 7 Derrick's Sandblasting Bloomquist, and Don Shaw, driver of the No. 42S Sure Step Victory, bested mother nature last week, splitting the races at Norman County and Sheyenne River.
Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium, picked up his fourth win of the season Saturday night at the Devils Lake Speedway. Strand took the lead on a late restart and won his ninth NLRA series feature, putting him alone in eighth on the series all-time wins list.
Strand has been on a hot streak lately, as he has won four of the last six NLRA features, sweeping the season series in Devils Lake, along with winning a Modified feature at the Speedway two weeks ago.
