The schedule for the 22nd season of NLRA racing has been completed, and it features 17 events at eight area tracks. The season is set to begin on Devils Run weekend at the Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND, on June 1st.
The series will co-headline the following week with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at the River Cities Speedway on June 7th. This will be the first of three NLRA and WoO events in the area, as both series will return to Grand Forks, and the Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND in August.
June continues with a return to Devils Lake on June 15th, the series first of three visits to the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN on June 22nd, before rounding out the month with a new addition to the schedule, a Sunday race during the Greater Grand Forks Fair at River Cities on June 23rd.
The series will take a short break before returning to action on July 20th at the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND, for the series only visit in 2019. July ends with a River Cities and Greenbush double header on July 26th and 27th.
The dog days of summer will begin with the series third and final visit to Devils Lake on August 3rd, while continuing west one night later, with the series lone visit to the Nodak Speedway in Minot, ND.
The aforementioned NLRA and WoO August double dip will be capped off with the series one and only appearance of the campaign at the Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon, ND.
After the third and final visit to Greenbush on August 24th, the series will round out the 2019 slate with the Traditional Labor Day Double at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, MN, on August 31st and September 1st, before heading home to crown our 2019 champion during the 'Prelude to the Johnny' at River Cities on September 5th.
