Last season at Red River Valley, it was Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S Bergstrom Electric MB Custom that scored the victory. Seng and Donny Schatz, driver of the No. 15 K3 Farms Rocket, swapped the lead three times during the twenty-five lapper, before Seng grabbed the lead for good on lap nineteen. It was Seng's second win in West Fargo, the other coming on the old half-mile, during another show with the World of Outlaws in June of 2009. Don Shaw eventually took second from Schatz, who rounded out the podium. Watertown's Scott Ward was fourth, with Dustin Strand rounding out the top five in the No. 71 Generation's Salon Millenium SRT. Seng and Strand lead all drivers with two previous wins at Red River Valley. Schatz won the 2017 make-up show, while Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 CMD Shocks MB Custom, won his second in a six day stretch in June 2016, after after his first career NLRA win at the Greenbush Race Park less than a week prior. | Shane Edginton is the current NLRA point leader.
