Two seasons ago, it was Ricky Weiss that scored the win in the No. 7 Derrick's Sandblasting Bloomquist, and with Weiss currently on the World of Outlaws circuit, there will likely be a new winner at this season's event. Two-time NLRA winner in 2019, Donny Schatz, driver of the No. 15 Fargo Petro Rocket, was second at Norman County two seasons ago, with Ryan Mikkelson rounding out the podium. Three-time Norman County NLRA winner, Brad Seng, finished fourth in the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom, with Don Shaw completing the top five two seasons ago. The race at Norman County will be the second straight three-eighths mile oval the series visits, after last Sunday's event at the Nodak Speedway in Minot, ND, that was won by Schatz. Seng and Weiss lead all drivers with three previous wins at Norman County. You have to go back to 2012 to find another active series regular that has a win in Ada, as Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71 Keewatin Truck Service Millenium SRT, won the August show that year, making Seng and Strand the only active series regulars with wins at the speedway. | Dustin Strand is the most recent current series regular with a Norman County win. Heading into the weekend, Shane Edginton, driver of the No. 4 Performance Auto Victory, leads the current standings, with a fourteen point edge over three-time and defending series champion Dustin Strand.
Brad Seng is third, while Brody Troftgruben, driver of the No, 14 Kaz Brothers Construction Rocket, and Jesse Teunis, driver of the No. 70 Houde's Excavating MasterSbilt complete the current top five.
Rookie Ryan Kereluk, driver of the No. 29K Edison Electrical Services Victory, and Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Enns Brothers Black Diamond, are tied for sixth, with Cole Schill in eighth in the No. 44 Mid Ag Dispatch MB Custom.
Ryan Corbett is ninth with the No. C4 Nutrien Ag Solutions MasterSbilt, with Tom Corcoran completing the current top five with the No. T1 D&B Motors MB Custom.
Action begins at seven on Thursday night. For more information, visit our Tracks page, or log on to ncraceway.com
