Both previous series events scheduled for 2021 at the Speedway have been lost to rain on June 4th and June 27th Six Late Model races have been run in weekly action at River Cities so far this season, and there is still yet to be a repeat winner. Lance Schill won the opener on May 7th in the No. 17 Schill Construction MB Custom. Dustin Strand won both the Modified and Late Model features in his No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing entries on May 14th. Rookie Mike Greseth won for the second night in a row in the No. 17 Quality Engines Rocket XR1 after winning the NLRA show at Grand Rapids the previous night. Brody Troftgruben won his first feature at the track in the No. 14 Shaw Trucking Rocket on June 11th, with Joey Pederson winning in the Dahlstrom Motors No. 7P on June 18th. Shane Edginton is the most recent winner, as he parked the Performance Auto No. 5e in victory lane last Friday night. Strand is the point leader at River Cities by just four points over Edginton. Kevin Robertson is sixth with the MLGC No. 10R, with Cole Schill in seventh in the No. 44 Mid Ag Dispatch MB Custom. Brody Troftgruben, Steve Anderson and his Pro Mark Services No. 9, and Cole Babcock and his Casselton Lumber No. 2* round out the top ten.
Racing begins at seven on Thursday night with the NOSA Sprint Cars also on the card.
