At last years running of the 'Prelude,' it was Jake Redetzke scoring the win, as the Wisconsin native scored his second career NLRA series victory, and first since Tony Stewart night at the Red River Valley Speedway in 2011. Pat Doar was second, with Mike Balcaen completing the podium in the No. 10 Enns Brothers Black Diamond. Shane Edginton finished fourth in the No. 4 Performance Auto Victory. Edginton was going for his first series title, but his hopes were dashed by an eighth finishing Brad Seng, who scored enough points to win the title, after charging from fifteenth in the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom. Dustin Strand finished fifth in the race in the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium SRT. This will be the third race for the series at River Cities this season. In the first event on July 31, it was Brad Seng who won his 39th NLRA series feature, leading the final eighteen laps for the victory. On August 21st, it was Dustin Strand that stole the win in an absolute thriller, winning by a few feet over Lance Schill and his No. 17 Schill Construction MB Custom. In weekly competition at River Cities during the 2020 campaign, Dustin Strand lead the way with five victories. Brad Seng has three wins, with Lance Schill scoring two of his own. | Dustin Strand will carry a 60 point lead into Thursday night, and will look to win his fourth series title. Speedway Shots photo.
