Two weeks ago, Shane Edginton, driver of the No, 4 Performance Auto Victory, scored the season opening victory, worth two thousand dollars, as Walhalla Builders presented the Golden Hammer Classic.
Edginton, who started fifth, used a late race restart to pass race long leader Dustin Strand and his No. 71 Keewatin Truck Service Millenium SRT, to put away his fourth career series victory.
Edginton heads into Saturday as one of the fastest drivers on tour, having collected three victories overall to start the season, with two Red River Co-Op Speedway wins to go along with his Devils Lake triumph.
Cole Schill finished on the final spot on the podium two weeks ago, his second straight in the No. 44 Mid Ag Dispatch MB Custom.
Schill finished in the same spot at the speedway's weekly opener on May 25th after a spirited battle with eventual winner Chad Becker.
Brad Seng improved one spot from the May 25th race, finishing fourth at the NLRA show a fortnight ago. Estevan, Saskatchewan hot shoe Aaron Turnbull rounded out the top five in the No. 21 Mack Auctions MB Custom.

Dustin Strand has three wins, while Edginton joined Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Winnipeg Hearing Centres MasterSbilt by JMR, and Ryan Corbett, driver of the No. C4 Dempsey Truck Service MasterSbilt, as the only other active series regulars to score one Devils Lake win.
Cole Schill will head into Saturday as the track point leader, with an eleven point advantage over Brad Seng. Defending Devils Lake champion Brody Troftgruben is third in the No. 14 R&R Dirt & Gravel Rocket.
Shane Edginton will head into Saturday as the NLRA series point leader, as he has a fairly robust 44 marker lead over three-time and defending series titlist Dustin Strand. Brad Seng is third, just two point back of Strand. Bill Mooney is fourth, while Brody Troftgruben rounds out the top five.
Ryan Corbett is sixth, with Mike Balcaen seventh, while Late Model sophomore Jesse Teunis is eight with his No. 70 Grand Prix Amusements MasterSbilt.
Rookie Ryan Kereluk is currently ninth with the No. 29K Dirty Bodies by RJK Victory. Kereluk was the hard charger at Devils Lake on June 1st, finishing ninth after starting 19th. Troy Schill rounds out the top ten with the No. 11 Todd's Electric Black Diamond.
