The silver anniversary season for the NLRA continues this Saturday night, June the 11th, at the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minn. This will be the 34th visit for the series to the quarter-mile, high-banked Roseau County Oval. Saturday also is scheduled to be the first of five events for the series in Greenbush in 2022.

Leading from lap eight onward, Mike Greseth closed the first weekend of his title defense with a victory at the Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon, ND. The win keeps Greseth undefeated in Late Model action at the Speedway, as his won last the series race there last August. Greseth's win, his seventh in just 19 career races with the series, already ties him with fellow series champions Troy Olson and Troy Schill. Brad Seng finished second, with Brody Troftgruben third, Mike Balcaen fourth, and point leader Cole Schill in fifth. Schill was also the hard charger, improving 12 spots. NLRA series action continues Saturday night at the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minn.
Full Results Current Points Jeffrey Massingill took the lead from Jordan Tollakson early and went on to win his second career NLRA feature Saturday night at the Sure Step I-94 Speedway and Fergus Falls, MN. The victory was Massingill’s first with the series since 2013 at Hibbing Raceway. Being crowned King of the Dirt netted Massingill $2,089. Cole Schill finished second with Shane Edginton rounding out the podium. Tollakson and Mike Greseth completed the top five. Friday night's winner at River Cities, Brody Troftgruben, was the hard charger, improving nine spots and finishing 16th. The three race weekend concludes Sunday night at the Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon, ND.

It all kicks off on Friday night, June the 3rd, At the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND, where the series will co-headline with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Race two of the weekend features the Dick Johanneck Memorial King of the Dirt at the Sure Step I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN, before wrapping up with the first of two more scheduled visits to the Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon, ND.

AJ Diemel took the point from race long leader Don Shaw with two laps remaining to win the 'Prelude to the Johnny' at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks Thursday night. The win was Diemel's second career NLRA series triumph, and his first since the 2015 running of the 'Prelude,' which kicks off John Seitz Memorial weekend. Dustin Strand, Brad Seng, and Mike Greseth rounded out the top five. Greseth's fifth place finish gave him enough points to earn the 2021 NLRA series championship. Greseth, in his rookie season in a Late Model, earned the nickname "Super Rookie" after his first career series win at Grand Rapids Speedway in May. From then, Greseth has won six more features, including five in NLRA competition. Greseth won by 24 points over Shane Edginton. Brody Troftgruben was the hard charger, finishing sixth after starting 18th.

Thursday night, September the 9th, the NLRA will wrap up its 24th season of racing with the 11th running of the "Prelude to the Johnny" at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND. The event kicks off the 15th annual John Seitz Memorial weekend, which honors four-time series champion John Seitz who passed away in 2007.

Mike Greseth won his sixth NLRA feature of the 2021 season Saturday night at the Howie Schill Memorial at the Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND. Greseth led every lap, and won by over eight seconds over Brad Seng. Greseth, who is in his rookie season in Late Models, also closed to within eight points of the series point lead with one points race remaining. Point leader Shane Edginton finished third, with hard charger Dustin Strand in fourth, and Cole Schill rounding out the top five. Strand passed eleven cars en route to win the hard charger award. The series returns to action with a non-points race on Wednesday night at River Cities Speedway. The season concludes September 9th with the 'Prelude to the Johnny' at River Cities.

Two of the final three events of the 2021 NLRA season are set to take place this weekend at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Friday night, and at the Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo on Saturday night. Both races will be run alongside the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, while Saturday’s event will also honor Howie Schill, who we lost last December.
Mike Greseth took the lead from Ryan Corbett on lap ten, and went on to win his fifth NLRA feature of the year on Sunday night at the Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon, ND. Greseth's win, in just his fourth month behind the wheel of a Late Model, is now tied with Tom Corcoran and Joel Cryderman on the series all-time wins list. Enderlin native Kevin Robertson finished second, with Corbett third, Bryce Sward fourth, and Dustin Strand rounding out the top five. Greseth's win also helped him cut into Shane Edginton's point lead, as the gap will be 26 heading into Friday's event at the River Cities Speedway, as the series will co-headline with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series for the second time this season.

The first of the final four races of the 2021 NLRA season is coming up this Sunday night, August the 15th, as the NLRA returns to the Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon, ND. The race is scheduled to be the 14th event at the quarter-mile oval on the Ransom County Fairgrounds.
