Friday's event at River Cities is scheduled to be the first of four visits for the series to the quarter-mile, high banked ‘Bullring’ on the greater Grand Forks County Fairgrounds. Mike Greseth, driver of the No. 17 Morton Buildings Rocket XR1, Shane Edgington, driver of the No. 5E Performance Auto Sniper, and AJ Diemel were the winners of the three series visits to River Cities last season. The track has only had one weekly show completed so far in 2022, with Lance Schill, driver of the No. 17 D&B Motors MB Custom winning last Friday night. Saturday night's race at Sure. Step I-94 Speedway will be the fourth visit by the series to the 3/8 mile Otter Tail County oval. The series returned to the speedway last season, for the first time in six years with two events. Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing and Heating Millenium, and Dave Mass, driver of the Shaw Trucking No. 2 split the two races last season. Pat Doar, Edginton, and rookie Danny Vang have scored feature wins in the three races run in weekly competition at the speedway in 2022. Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 Mid-Ag Dispatch MB Custom, will carry a 33 point lead over Shawn Meyer into this weekend's race. | Mike Greseth is the defending series champ, with series wins at two of the three tracks featured this weekend. This will be the 15th visit by the series to Lisbon, and the first of two this season, as the speedway has added Late Models to a decent percentage of their schedule for the 2022 season. The first scheduled visit to Sheyenne was scheduled for May 15th, but was cancelled due to the wet spring conditions.
