The most recent event at Sheyenne was won by Chad Becker in August 2019, who used a rainout at the Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD to win his third of now four career NLRA victories. Becker is also the most recent series winner, as he won last Sunday's event at the Nodak Speedway in Minot, ND. Cole Schill was second in the No. 44 Rivinius Ranch Mb Custom last Sunday at Nodak, with Brody Troftgruben completing the podium in the No. 14 Gateway Auto Tech Rocket. Curt Gelling was second at Sheyenne in 2019, with Brad Seng third in the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom. Two-time series champion Cody Skytland was fourth in his first night behind the wheel of Donny Schatz's No. 15 Fargo Petro Rocket, while Mike Balcaen completed the top five. | Chad Becker is the most recent winner at Sheyenne Speedway. Shane Edginton will head into Lisbon as the series point leader in the No. 5E Performance Auto Sniper by 64 points over Mike Greseth and his No. 17 Quality Engines Rocket XR1.
Edginton won his second NLRA feature last Saturday night at the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN, while Greseth is the series leader in victories in 2021 with four trips to victory lane in his rookie season.
