The championship picture could look a lot different this time next week, as the NLRA, and its' series regulars are set to embark on a three race swing in four nights.
First on Thursday night the NLRA will make its' third and final appearance of the 2013 season to the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN. Zach Johnson of Kensington, MN, and Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport Mars MB Custom have chalked up victories at the 3/8 mile oval this season. Seng will also be looking for his third series win in a row. Six drivers own top ten finishes in both previous events in Ada this season. Those drivers are Brad Seng, Zach Johnson, Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71S Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 freehearingtest.ca Rocket, Donny Schatz, and Brian Bernotas. Racing begins Thursday Night at 7pm.

On Saturday night, August the 11th, the NLRA will make its' only appearance this season at the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND. The event will be the series 18th visit to the High-Banked 1/4 mile clay oval on the Stutsman County Fairgrounds. NLRA series regulars that own series victories in Jamestown include Bill Mooney, Mike Balcaen, Brad Seng and Dustin Strand, with the latter three scoring top tens in both NLRA series events at the speedway last season. Racing begins Saturday Night at 7pm.

Shane Edginton was the winner of last years' inaugural event at the semi-Banked 3/8 Mile Dirt Oval on the banks of the Buffalo River. The win was also Edginton's first behind the wheel of a late model. Zach Johnson, Dustin Strand, Brad Seng, Ricky Weiss rounded out the top five. Norm Olson, driver of the No 29 BM Transport MasterSbuilt was the hard charger in last seasons' event, finishing ninth after starting in the 23rd position. Racing begins Sunday night at 6pm.
Dustin Strand remains atop the season standings with a 48 point lead over defending series champion Brad Seng. Joey Pederson, driver of the No 7P Dahlstrom Motors Mars MB Custom, sits in the third spot, while Mike Balcaen, and Bill Mooney round out the top five. Steve Anderson, driver of the No. 9 Hi-Per-Flex Panel Systems Pierce, Troy Schill, driver of the No. 11 Forks Finest Auto Body Victory Circle, Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 Quaker Steak & Lube Rocket, Billy Michaelsohn, driver of the No. 8 Dave's West Fargo Tire machine, and two time series winner Zach Johnson round out the top ten.
