Seng's 27th series victory breaks the tie with the late great John Seitz for the most wins in NLRA series history. Seitz, the four-time NLRA series champion, and two-time Wissota national Super Stock champion, had been alone on top of the series win list from May 26, 2002 when he won his seventh series feature at his home track, the Bemidji Speedway in Bemidji, MN, until Seng's victory at the River Cities Speedway last August. Seitz's 26th and final NLRA series victory came at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg on August 17th, 2006. Seitz passed away at age 36 in the winter of 2007, and has since been enshrined in the River Cities Speedway Hall of Fame, and has had the tracks' late model fall classic known until the 2007 running as the 'Harvest Bowl Late Model Special' renamed in his honor. Seitz still holds the record for most NLRA wins in a season with seven, a mark he set in 2004. The NLRA season continues Saturday night, June the 13th at the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND.
