Brad Seng and Donny Schatz were NLRA series winners at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks last weekend. Seng's win on Friday night was his 26th NLRA series victory, tying him with John Seitz for the most in the series' history. Schatz's win on Saturday night came exactly one year to the day of his first series win, which also came at River Cities. On Friday night, Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport Mars MB Custom took the lead from Ricky Weiss, driver of the No. 7 Derrick's Sandblasting machine on lap 16 and lead the rest of the way.
Weiss finished second, with Donny Schatz, driving the No. 15 Petro of Fargo Rocket third, Joey Pederson, driver of the No. 7P Dahlstrom Motors Mars MB Custom fourth, and Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71S Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium rounding out the to five. Shane Edginton, driver of the No. 5E Avonlea Group Victory Circle finished sixth, with Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Northstar Canada Victory Circle seventh, Pat Doar, driving the No. 2A UMotors MasterSbuilt crossing the lone in eighth. Tom Corcoran, driver of the No. T1 D&B Motors Rocket and Chris Olson, in the No. 18 Beltline Body Shop Rocket rounded out the top ten. Schatz and Harold Schill were the hard chargers as they each moved up ten spots. Edginton, Weiss, Pederson, and Jason Storbakken were heat race winners. 26 cars were in attendance.
On Saturday night, Donny Schatz took the lead from Mike Balcaen on lap 15 and lead the rest of the 25 lap race. Brad Seng was second, with Shane Edginton third, Mike Balcaen fourth, and Steffen Snare, driver of the No. 71A High Mark Snomobile Rentals Bloomquist rounded out the top five. Joey Pederson was sixth, with Steve Anderson, driver of the No. 9 Hi-Per-Flex Panel Systems Pierce seventh, Norm Olson, driver of the No. 29 BM Transport MasterSbuilt eighth, Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 Rivinius Ranch Rocket ninth, and Tom Corcoran rounding out the top ten. Balcaen, Schatz, and Seng were the heat winners. 20 cars were in attendance.

The NLRA is schedule to continues its' season this Thursday night, August the 21st at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN.
