Ricky Weiss won at the River Cities Speedway last Friday night, with Brad Seng, in the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom, Dustin Strand, in the Q&Z Plumbing & Heating No. 71, Joey Pederson, in the No. 7P Dahlstrom Motors MB Custom, and Steve Anderson, in the No. 9 Hi-Per-Flex Panel Systems Pierce rounding out the top five.
Don Shaw won at the I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls last Friday night, with Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 Rivinius Ranch MasterSbilt by JMR continuing a strong season in second.

After the rain out of the NLRA series event at the Hibbing Raceway, Brad Seng, Norm Olson, driver of the No. 29 Disabled American Veterans MasterSbilt, and Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Northstar Canada Black Diamond, headed south to race at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, MN. Seng finished second to Cody Skytland in his heat, with Norm Olson finishing fourth. Mike Balcaen finished second to Don Shaw, but the rest of the program was lost to rain.
Dustin Strand came back from heading to Hibbing just long enough to drop off his late model, pick up his modified, and head west to win the $2000 to win modified special at the Devils Lake Speedway near Doyon, ND. The NLRA returns to Devils Lake on Saturday night, August the 22nd.
NLRA series action continues on Friday night, August the 21st at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND, as the series will again run on the same card as the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.
