Friday night June the 20th at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND. The race, scheduled to be the 19th at the high-banked quarter-mile on the Grand Forks County Fairgrounds. The track serves as the home track for many of the NLRA's series regulars.
Joey Pederson, Donny Schatz, and Pat Doar were NLRA winners at the Speedway last season. Joey Pederson has three wins; Brad Seng has two wins, and Steve Anderson has one win.

Pederson won the first time the NLRA shared the spotlight with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at the bullring, and was one lap from making it a clean sweep of the NLRA/WoO shows when Schatz made good use of lapped traffic to pick up the win. Schatz is scheduled to do double duty again during this Friday's program. Pat Doar won the 3rd annual 'Prelude to the Johnny' on September 5th, leading the final 21 laps for his second series win of 2013.
Brad Seng lead all late model drivers with four wins during the season at River Cities. Joey Pederson added two more wins on his way to the track championship, while Pat Doar's two wins already included the Wissota Race of Champions qualifier a month prior to his NLRA win. Bill Mooney, Cole Schill, Donny Schatz, Dustin Strand each recorded a single victory.
Saturday night June the 21st, the scene shifts 200 miles east with the third visit in series history at the Hibbing Raceway, Hibbing, MN. Last season, Jeff Massingill won the first NLRA feature at the track ten years, leading all 40 laps, and collecting $3,500 for his victory. Tommy Waseleski passed 17 cars in becoming the races' hard charger. In weekly competition in Hibbing last season Harry Hanson won three times, while Jeff Provinzino was the only other racer to win multiple races, winning on two occasions. George Ledin, Jr., Kyle Peterlin; Brady Smith; Tommy Waseleski; Zach Wohlers each won once.
