The race on Saturday night is scheduled to be the second appearance this season, and fifteenth overall at the three eighths mile clay oval that is located 15 miles east of Devils Lake. On July 26th Brad Seng lead all 25 laps and collected, at that point, his fourth win of the 2014 NLRA season last Saturday night at the Devils Lake Speedway. Seng was followed home by Steffen Snare, driver of the No. 71A High Mark Snomobile Rentals Bloomquist in second, with Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Northstar Canada third, Steve Anderson, driver of the No. 9 Hi-Per-Flex Panel Systems Pierce fourth, and Zach Naastad, driver of the No. Z17 Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium who completed the top five. Naastad was also the races' hard charger improving three spots from his eighth place starting spot.
Brad Seng leads the NLRA point standings heading into the weekend with a 118 point advantage over Mike Balcaen. Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing and Heating Millenium sits in the third spot, while Shane Edginton, driver of the No. 5E Avonlea Group Victory Circle and Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 Rivinius Ranch Rocket round out the top five. Ricky Weiss is in the sixth spot, with Steve Anderson, driver of the No. 9 Hi-Per-Flex Panel Systems Pierce in seventh, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Lithia Toyota/Pizza Ranch Rocket in eighth, Donny Schatz ninth, and Pat Doar rounding out the top ten.
