Friday nights' race in Fergus Falls will be the inaugural appearance by the NLRA at the three-eighths mile oval since the pavement was removed and the speedway became a dirt track again in 2010. Eric Breeschoten won five races in becoming the track champion at the speedway last season. Don Shaw won four times, while Zach Johnson, Shawn Kirwin, and Casey Meyer all had one victory apiece. Racing starts at 7pm on Friday night.
On Saturday night the series returns to Alexandria, MN, for the third time this season, where the field will be racing for $1,600 to win. Thanks to Allstate Peterbilt Group of Alexandria, the purse will be increased throughout the field, with extra money given to the hard charger and longest tow as well. The top two in the NLRA points standings are also the two previous winners in May at Viking. Ricky Weiss and Brad Seng each won during the Memorial Day double header, and Seng is coming off a victory at the Hibbing Raceway on June 21 also. Racing starts at 6:45pm in Saturday night.
