The June 14th event at Greenbush was not the only NLRA event lost to rain that weekend. The series was also scheduled to race at the Buffalo River Race Park near Glyndon, MN on June 15th. The NLRA is currently in talks with officials of the Glyndon track about a make-up date for that event.
Brad Seng heads heads into the Greenbush event as the NLRA point leader, with a 36 point edge over 2011 series champion Ricky Weiss. Pat Doar sits in the third spot, while Mike Balcaen and Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71S Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium round out the top five. Shane Edginton in the Avonlea Group 5E holds the sixth spot, with five time World of Outlaws sprint car champion Donny Schatz in seventh. Dave Smith, in the No. 06 Mobil 1 Capital is eighth, with Bill Mooney and Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 Rivinius Ranch Rocket rounding out the top ten.
