Dead Horse Creek Speedway, formerly ALH Motor Speedway, in Morden, MB reopened last season with a brand-new racing surface and hosted two race weekends which included Late Models on night two of the Watermelon Cup last July.
This will be the first race held in Canada for the series since August of 2018 when the series last appeared at Victory Lane Speedway in Winnipeg.
This will be the second race of the season following Dustin Strand's season opening victory in the No. 71 Walhalla Builders Longhorn at Devils Lake Speedway on May 11th. The win was Strand's 30th series victory becoming just the second driver to hit that mark. Strand heads into Dead Horse Creek having finished fourth in the aforementioned race at the speedway last July.
Shane Edginton was second at Devils Lake on May 11th with Kevin Robertson finishing third in the MLGC No. 10R and a pair of Cole's rounding out the top five. Cole Schill was fourth in the No. 44* Mid Ag Dispatch MB Custom with Cole Babcock finishing fifth in the No. 2* Wicked Wraps and Fab Rocket XR1.
This weekend's McNaught Cup at Dead Horse Creek pays $2,000-to-win. If you can't make it to the track this weekend the races will be broadcast on FYETV. For more information visit https://www.deadhorsecreekspeedway.ca/
