Some other milestones to look out for during the 2023 campaign include four-time series champion Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71 Walhalla Builders Millenium just two wins away from becoming just the second driver to win 30 series features. Strand passed Mike Balcaen and the late John Seitz, each of whom have 26 series wins, with a win late June at River Cities.
Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom, leads all drivers with five previous series wins at Devils Lake. Dustin Strand has four wins at the track, with Greseth's aforementioned pair of wins making the trio the only active drivers with multiple wins.
Shane Edginton, driver of the No. 5E Performance Auto Sniper, and Brody Troftgruben, driver of the No. 14 Gateway Auto Tech Rocket are the only other active drivers with prior wins at Devils.
Saturday's event is not only the series' season opener, but it will also serve as the lid lifter for the track as well, as they will host weekly Late Model racing for the second time. In 2018, Brody Troftgruben won the track championship. Saturday's slate includes WISSOTA Midwest Mods and Street Stocks, Western Renegade Non-Wing Sprints, and Pure Stocks starting a seven o'clock.
