Thursday's race is scheduled to be the 23rd trip by the series to the three-eighths mile oval on the Norman County Fairgrounds. Mike Greseth won the previous race on June 24th in his No. 17 Quality Engines Rocket XR1, his third of now four series wins so far this season. Brad Seng was second in June in his No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom, while Pat Doar rounded out the podium in the No. 11 Kivi Bros. Trucking Rocket XR1. New series point leader Shane Edginton was fourth in the No. 5E Performance Auto Sniper, while Tyler Peterson made his Late Model debut a strong one, finishing fifth in Donny Schatz's No. 15 Fargo Petro Rocket. Greseth joined Brad Seng and Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium SRT, as the only series regulars with wins at Ada. Seng and Strand have three previous wins in series action at Norman County. On Saturday night, the series returns to the Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND for the second and final time in 2021, as the series will take to the third-mile 'Devil's Playground' for the 28th time in series history. | Dustin Strand (71) and Mike Greseth (17) battle at Norman County in June.
