Mike Greseth became the series 54th different winner Thursday night, parking the No. 17 Quality Engines Rocket XR1 in victory lane, as series returned to the Grand Rapids Speedway for the first time since 2010. Greseth won from the pole, but lost the lead to Brad Seng for a couple laps towards the midway point. Those two drivers and Shane Edginton made up a great three car battle for the victory. Greseth will also head into the three race swing next weekend as the point leader after winning in just his second NLRA start, and sixth in a Late Model overall. Greseth is also yet to finish outside the top five in those starts. Edginton, Seng, I-94 winner Dave Mass, and Kyle Peterlin rounder out the top five. NLRA action continues next week at the River Cities Speedway on Friday with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series, on Saturday night at the Dick Johanneck Memorial at the Sure Step I-94 Speedway, and concludes next Sunday with another return, this time to the Buffalo River Speedway in Glyndon, MN.
