Two-time series champion, and current point leader Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium SRT, scored his third NLRA victory of the year last Saturday night at the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND. The win is Strand's 17th career win with the series, which is fifth on the all-time wins list.

Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium SRT, won his second NLRA feature last Friday night at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. The win is also his 16th career NLRA triumph, and came in front of the live T.V. cameras of Midco Sportsnet.

Five-time series champion, Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Enns Brothers Black Diamond, won in dominant fashion last Saturday night, winning the series season opener at the Devils Lake Speedway, near Crary, ND.

The win is Weiss' 19th career series victory, and his first with the series in nearly two years. Weiss took the lead from early leader Dave Smith, then held off a hard charging Dustin Strand at the line for the victory.

Dustin Strand swept both ends of the double header last Friday night at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND. Strand, driver of the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing Millenium, lead flag-to-flag in both features, collecting his 13th and 14th career series wins, passing both Mitch Johnson and Jeff Wildung to move alone into fifth on the all time wins list.
After a third place run at the I-94 Speedway last Friday night, Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 Mid Ag Dispatch MasterSbilt by JMR, won at the Viking Speedway last Saturday, Matt and Dave Smith were 1100 miles from home when they rounded out the top five respectively in their Polar Industries Capitals.
Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Lithia Toyota MasterSbilt by JMR, won the season opener at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks last Friday night. Defending Wissota national champion Dustin Strand finished second in the No. 71 RHR Swag Millenium, with Zach Naastad, driver of the No. Z17 Q&Z Plumbing Millenium third, Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12 S&S Transport MB Custom fourth, and Joey Pederson, driver of the No. 7P Dalhstrom Motors MB Custom rounding out the top five.
For the ninth time in series history, the NLRA will spend its' Labor Day weekend at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, MN. The regulars of the NLRA series will take on the 51-year-old half-mile oval on the Douglas County Fairgrounds for the 38th time in series history.
Last season, for the first time ever, Viking aces Jeff Wildung and Zach Johnson were held out of the win column. Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom, and Don Shaw in the Shaw Trucking No. 42S, became just the third and fourth drivers not named Wildung or Johnson to win on Labor Day weekend in Alexandria.
On Saturday night, July the 23rd, the NLRA will head west for the 18th time in series history to the Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND. The track hosted two series events last season, and is scheduled to do so again this season.
