
Strand finished second in the No. 71S Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium, while Zach Johnson finished third. Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 freehearingtest.ca Rocket came home fourth, and Joey Pederson, in his No. 7P Dahlstrom Motors Mars MB Custom crossed the line fifth. Jeremy Keller of Mandan, ND finished sixth, and was the races' hard charger after starting in the 17th position. Tom Corcoran in his No. T1 D&B Motors Rocket finished seventh, while Steven Grabow, Schatz, and Brian Bernotas rounded out the top ten. Heat wins went to Seng, Strand and Schatz. The NLRA season continues on August the 8th, when the series is scheduled to make a third and final visit to the Norman County Raceway. The following weekend, the series will make stops at the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND, and the Buffalo River Race Park near Glyndon, MN.
