The Northern Late Model Racing Association's 20th season of action will feature 17 big events during this anniversary season. In 1998, the Grand Forks, ND based racing series debuted with four races on its' initial slate of races, setting a foundation that the series continues to build off of today.
The 2017 season will begin on June 16th, as the series will co-headline events at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Both series will make the 80 mile trip south to race together again at the Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo the following night.

Other big events on the schedule include the return to the Sheyenne River Speedway in Lisbon, ND on August 6, after an eleven year absence. The event will cap off a four race in five night stretch for the series, after races at the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND, the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN, and a second race at the Red River Valley Speedway. On June 23rd the series will co-headline an event with the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association at the River Cities Speedway.
Some favorites returning to the schedule are the second co-headlined event with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at River Cities in August, the Can-Am Challenge at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, the Traditional Labor Day Double at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, the Prelude to the Johnny at River Cities in September, along with three stops at the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN, and two at the Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND.
