This big show will also be highlighted, not only as the final appearance by the NLRA at the track this season, but also as a NOSA Blazin' Challenge qualifier, and a $750-to-win street stock special, as well.
Kevin Robertson, driver of the H. Anderson Concrete No. 10R won on May 26th. Shane Edginton won last weeks' main event in his No. 4 General Signs Victory.
Balcaen's win on May 19th was his fourth NLRA feature win in Devils Lake, and first since August of 2002. Dustin Strand, driver of the No. 71 McCaughan Builders Millenium SRT, a three-time series winner at the Speedway in his own right, was the runner-up. Edginton was third, with Jim Harris making the long haul from Estevan, Saskatchewan to score a fourth place run in his CJ Oilfield And Maintenance and Repair No. 17.
Late Model Sophomore Brody Troftgruben, driver of the No. 14 R&R Landscaping Rocket, leads the season long standings at Devils Lake heading into their fifth week of action. A trio of Manitoba drivers fill the middle of the top five as Shane Edginton sits second, Mike Balcaen is third, and rookie Jesse Teunis, driver of the Grand Prix Amusements No. 70 is fourth.
Travis Robertson, who put on a clinic, running second on May 26 with a strong run around the top of the Speedway in his No. 1R Tires Plus MasterSbilt, is fifth in the standings.
Racing starts at seven on Saturday night. The Speedway does offer online ticket sales on their MyRacePass site at this highlighted link.
