Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S Schill Construction MB Custom, won his first NLRA series feature of the season at Greenbush on July 15th. The win was Seng's fourth in Greenbush. Seng lead flag-to-flag in a race that went green-white-checkered.
Two-time Greenbush winner Ricky Weiss was second in the No. 7 Keewatin Truck Service Bloomquist, with Shane Edginton, driver of the No. 4 Kennedy Flooring Victory third, and 1991 Greenbush champion Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Enns Brothers Black Diamond fourth.
Cole Schill, rounded out the top five the No. 44 Gateway Chevrolet MasterSbilt by JMR, at the track where scored his first career series victory in June 2016.
Steffen Snare was sixth on July 15 in the No. 71S Northern Sanitation Bloomquist, with Dustin Strand, seventh in the No. 71 RHRSwag.com Millenium, and Joey Pederson in the No. 7P Big Jim's Tire MB Custom eighth. Ryan Corbett was ninth in Brad Seng's backup car, and Jeff Hapala rounded out the top ten in the No. 16S City Parcel Delivery MasterSbilt by JMR.
2011 series champion Ricky Weiss, will carry a 68 point lead over defending series champion Brad Seng. Shane Edginton is third, with Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Winnipeg Hearing Centres MasterSbilt by JMR in fourth, and Dustin Strand rounding out top five.
Mike Balcaen is sixth in the current standings, with Steve Anderson, driver of the No. 9 Schmidt, Inc. MB Custom, is seventh, and inaugural Greenbush NLRA event winner Tom Corcoran, driver of the No. T1 Forks Finest Auto Body MB Custom, eighth. Corcoran won the series debut at the track 20 seasons ago on July 25, one of his two series wins at the track.
Rookie Travis Robertson, driver of the No. 1R Tires Plus MasterSbilt in ninth.
Donny Schatz currently rounds out the top ten, but the eight-time World of Outlaws Champion, will be in Billings, MT going for his ninth title. That will give three other series regulars a chance to get back on next year's shirt.
Jeff Hapala, is eleventh in the points, 16 points back of Schatz, rookie Brody Troftgruben, driver of the No. 14 Gateway Auto Tech Rocket, is twelfth, 26 points back of tenth, and Cole Schill is 13th, 34 points back of the top ten.
