With last season's event at Lisbon falling to rain, the series last visit to Sheyenne was two years ago, as the series made it's return to Lisbon for the first time in eleven years. That event nearly didn't happen either, as a strong thunderstorm, that made it as close as Enderlin, never made it to the track. 28 cars took to the track that night. Don Shaw was the winner two seasons ago, as he snuck past Brad Seng and his No. 12S Anderson Brothers Body Shop MB Custom, leading the final eleven circuits for the victory. Dustin Strand was third in the No. 71 Anytime Fitness Millenium SRT, with Ricky Weiss fourth, and Donny Schatz rounding out the top five in the No. 15 Schatz Crossroads Rocket. There have been a number of improvements made to the Sheyenne Speedway since the event two seasons ago. Co-promoters Hunter Carter and Benji Froemke, and the entire crew at the Sheyenne Speedway, have removed the infield guardrail, reconstructed the front stretch wall, and placed new dirt around the track, among other improvements. | Brad Seng leads all active drivers with three previous wins at Sheyenne. Heading into the weekend, Shane Edginton, driver of the No. 4 Performance Auto Victory, leads the current point standings, with a fourteen point advantage over three-time and defending series champion Dustin Strand.
Brad Seng is third, while Brody Troftgruben, driver of the No. 14 Hausmann Motorsports & Farming Rocket, and Jesse Teunis, driver of the No. 70 Keewatin Truck Service MasterSbilt complete the current top five.
Mike Balcaen and rookie Ryan Kereluk, driver of the No. 29K Imrie Demolition Victory, are tied for sixth, with Cole Schill in eighth with the No. 44 JW Repair MB Custom.
Ryan Corbett is ninth with the No. C4 Diamond Lounge MasterSbilt, with Tom Corcoran completing the current top five with the No. T1 Bruce Hart Fabrication & Repair MB Custom.
