The race last August was in jeopardy all afternoon, as strong thunder showers dotted the radar, producing heavy rains as close as Enderlin. But the skies cleared, however, and a stout field of 28 Late Models took to the track. Don Shaw, driver of the No. 42S Shaw Trucking Victory, chased down race long leader Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S Envision AG MB Custom, in lapped traffic to score the victory. Dustin Strand was third last August in the No. 71 Red Headed Rebel Brew Millenium SRT, while Ricky Weiss, driver of the No. 7 Keewatin Truck Service Bloomquist, and Donny Schatz, driver of the No. 15 Fargo Petro Rocket, rounded out the top five.
